Jealousy- Kurt POV

It was early summer in 2020 and I was at Finn's house for the family barbecue. The day was fairly pleasant as the birds chirped and the sun shined down on Long Island. We were in his backyard as I watched Finn pick up his daughter swinging her around. The little girl was laughing her light brown hair swinging from her high pigtails and her pink jumper billowing from the speed. Little Hadley had her head titled back as she squealed in delight laughing. I watched from a distance my arms folded over my chest as I watched my step brother play with my adorable little niece. I couldn't help but feel extremely jealous watching them. Blaine and I couldn't have children, hell Blaine and I weren't even married yet. The damn boy had not popped the question yet and I swear if he doesn't soon I will! I saw Rachel run over to her husband from the house laughing at the two.
"Alright Finn, it's Hadley's nap time," Rachel laughed taking the three year old.
Blaine came up to me noticing the tears which bitterly and quietly ran down my cheeks.
"Hey are you alright?" he asked.
I wiped my eyes sniffling trying to hide the tears from Blaine, but he knew me too well. My boyfriend put his arm around my shoulders as I stared at the pale blue sky.
"Hey what's wrong?" he asked softly.
"Why does Finn get everything?" I sniffled.
"A-are you jealous?" Blaine asked.
I could tell he was holding in laughter to the best of his abilities. I looked away before Blaine turned my head to face him.
"He always gets everything," I said sadly.
"Not everything," Blaine whispered tenderly.
I looked questionably into his gold eyes that I love more than the world.
"I have you," Blaine said kissing me gently.
I reached up behind his head to deepen the kiss. Jealousy is not a good thing. I guess I can live with just Blaine. He makes my life perfect which is all I could ask for.
